Barleyfield House is an award winning respite facility with 5 single bedrooms to provide services to those with a learning disability. Guests are referred to us through Shropshire Council although we can always provide advice and suitable contact details if required.

We refer to people staying at the home, usually for periods of up to a couple of weeks as Guests as we expect to provide a recreational experience. Some prefer to carry on their normal routine and we will do all we can to facilitate that. At Barleyfield House we aim to provide short term care in a relaxing and caring environment for you to treat as you would a holiday. We enable you to expand your capabilities, expectations and experiences within a safe environment.

This beautiful home is set within its own gardens which are accessible for all to enjoy.

We have fun at Barleyfield House and offer activities that are personalised and tailored towards individual needs and aspirations.

You will be involved in all household routines and naturally you will able to choose, and importantly help prepare, meals and select what you would like to do in the evenings ensuring you will thoroughly enjoy your stay.

So let us know any ideas you may have and we will try and met your expectations.
