What is nursing care?
Nursing care refers to long-term care given to adults who stay in a care home with nurses on duty rather than in their own home.
People enter a nursing home because they have been assessed as needing nursing care to support medical conditions, mental health conditions with associated behaviours and sensitive end of life care if and when this may be necessary.
Funded Nursing Care may have been approved. This funding is usually assessed by the NHS or Clinical Commissioning Group. We can discuss your personal circumstances with you. For further information please see this link. (Please note we are not responsible for external websites.)
What is the benefit?
All of the benefits of entering a residential home apply in a nursing home with the peace of mind of knowing there is a trained nurse on site who can support your clinical needs and oversee your well-being.
