Briarfield's garden has been completely revamped, and they are getting ready for a celebration like no other! As Briarfield's joins in the 30th birthday fun, they are holding their own garden party to celebrate with all of their wonderful residents, staff and supporters on the 1st of June,2025 at 2pm.
All of their lovely residents are so excited about the transformation and can’t wait to enjoy the new garden! So much so, resident Ruth Dannatt has written a poem about their garden.
Residents have been hard at work sourcing beautiful plants to make this space even more special. Their plans include:
A small allotment area where they will grow their our own fresh produce.
A sensory garden filled with vibrant colours, soothing sounds, and lovely smells to engage all the senses.
It’s all coming together, and Briarfield's can’t wait to share this special space with everyone! Stay tuned for more updates as they prepare for this unforgettable celebration and the big garden reveal!
A Garden Wish Come True
We’re having a new garden
With paving in neat rows
And a lovely useful greenhouse
Where little plants can grow
With butterflies and bees around
To feed on all the shrubs
And lots of different flowers
So, they can buzz around the tubs
With friends and family helping
Preparing all the ground
Well soon enjoy their hard work!
To sit and stroll around
With thanks to all the people
Who helped to raise the money
We can go outside in safety
And feel that life is more sunny
