Shrewsbury, Shropshire – Coverage Care, a leading provider of nursing, residential, and respite care services in Shropshire, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
As part of the celebrations, the organisation is honouring Chris Fair, who has dedicated 45 years to their Woodcroft care home, part if the Coverage Care family.
Chris was already working at the home which was then owned by Shropshire Council for 15 years before it became part of Coverage Care in 1995, shortly after the organisation was founded. Over the years, he has become a cornerstone of the team, known for his unwavering commitment, compassion, and dedication to the residents and staff alike. His journey with Coverage Care has seen him take on various roles, each contributing significantly to the growth and success of the organisation.
Debbie Price, Chief Executive of Coverage Care, expressed her gratitude for Chris's long-standing service. "Chris Fair embodies the values and mission of Coverage Care. His dedication over the past 30 years has been instrumental in shaping the compassionate and high-quality care we provide. We are incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our team," she said.
Coverage Care's 30th anniversary is not just a celebration of its past achievements but also a reflection on its continuous adaptation to meet the evolving needs of the community. The organisation operates 11care homes across Shropshire, Telford, and Wrekin, providing essential services to older people and those living with dementia or disabilities

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Coverage Care is hosting a series of events throughout the year, including community events at each of it’s 11 homes, and special activities for residents. These events aim to honour the hard work and dedication of the staff, like Chris, who have made Coverage Care a trusted name in the community.
Chris Fair shared his thoughts on reaching this milestone: "Working at Coverage Care for the past 30 years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've had the privilege of working with amazing colleagues and caring for wonderful residents. It's been a journey filled with learning, growth, and countless memorable moments."
