On Saturday 8th of August, we were delighted to welcome everyone to Be YOU with US - a joyful celebration of diversity, life choices, community and belonging at Montgomery House in Shrewsbury.
This special event brought together residents, families, colleagues, neighbours and community partners to celebrate what makes each of us unique. There was music, entertainment, delicious treats, meaningful conversations and plenty of smiles in the garden.
Alongside the celebrations, we also raised money for Shropshire Mental Health Support, a local charity providing vital listening services, crisis support and safe spaces for people across our county. Every contribution helped strengthen the wellbeing of our community.
Residents, family members, friends, neighbours and members of our wider community all came together to be part of it.
It was a wonderful day of coming as you are and celebrating who you are. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
