Residents at Coverage Cares’ Montgomery House, and Briarfields in Shrewsbury and Greenfield In Whitchurch and New Fairholme in Oswestry have been raising their voices in harmony thanks to the launch of our new Singing for the Brain sessions.
This heartwarming initiative, designed to support cognitive health and emotional wellbeing through music, has already struck a chord with participants.
The sessions have been in full swing for a few weeks now much to the delight of residents who have been enthusiastically singing along to familiar tunes, sparking smiles, laughter, and cherished memories. The power of music to connect and uplift was on full display, creating a vibrant atmosphere that resonated throughout the homes.
“We’ve seen such joy and engagement from our residents,” said a staff member. “It’s more than just singing—it’s about connection, stimulation, and shared experience.”
Coverage Cares is proud to offer these sessions as part of its commitment to enriching the lives of those in its care.
