Coverage Care’s Montgomery House nursing home in Shrewsbury proudly honoured one of its most dedicated and beloved team members last week, as Irene Woods retired at the age of 83 following an extraordinary career in the care sector.
Irene spent the last 10 years of her career with Coverage Care, where she became a cherished figure among staff and residents alike.
Renowned for her tireless dedication, Irene continued to work 12-hour shifts right up until her retirement, a true testament to her passion and commitment to those in her care.
Her decision to step down was prompted by a thoughtful desire to begin slowing down, having given so much of herself to the profession she loved.
