Debbie Price, Chief Executive

Debbie is an experienced social care professional having worked in homes for the elderly and for 18 years managing homes for people with learning difficulties. Debbie joined us from her previous position as Chief Officer of Shropshire Partners in Care in October 2015 and brings a wealth of experience in workforce development.

Helen Woodvine ACMA, Finance Director

Helen is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant and has +25 years’ experience in management accounting and finance.  Helen brings a wealth of experience relating to Coverage Care being part of the Finance team for the past 19 years and in the role of Head of Finance since 2018 prior to becoming Finance Director in March 2021.

Samantha Woosnam, Human Resources (HR) Director

Samantha has worked for Coverage Care for seven years, most recently as the Head of Human Resources and Payroll, she has been fundamental in implementing the workforce initiatives ranging from providing support and advice to leading on our recruitment campaigns, particularly our apprenticeship scheme.

Ian Gordon, Chairman

Ian is a former member of the executive committees of 2 FTSE 100 businesses and also a trustee of Muscular Dystrophy. Ian is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Coverage Care.

Rob Turton, Non-Executive Director, Chairman Audit Committee

Rob is a retired Chartered Accountant with extensive sector experience, previously with BDO Stoy Hayward. Rob is the Chairman of the Coverage Care Audit Committee.

Kenneth A. Bean, Non-Executive Director, Audit Committee member

Ken is a retired banker and former local director at RBS and also Bank of England panel member for Shropshire with care sector experience. Ken is a former Chairman at Coverage Care and also a Member of the Coverage Care Audit Committee.

Val Beint, Non-Executive Director (Care Champion)

Val is a former Director of Adult Social Care in Shropshire with wide ranging experience in health, housing and social care and joined the board in 2016. Val is the care champion at Coverage Care.

David Coull, Non-Executive Director

David has over 30 years experience as an executive and non-executive director in the NHS, Voluntary and Independent sectors providing health, housing and social care. David took up post as Chief Executive in 2003 and retired in 2021 to become a Non-Executive Director.

Garry Richards - Company Secretary

A retired solicitor and former partner with Lanyon Bowdler, recommended by Legal 500 for corporate and commercial law services, appointed in 2011.
