… may we offer the note of thanks for the care and attention given to my mother .. whilst resident at Barclay Gardens in Donnington.

The staff who were in contact with .. were unfailingly kind and treated her with the utmost respect and concern for her needs…

When .. was in terminal decline, the true caring nature of your staff was most apparent. It could only have been of the greatest comfort to her to know that she was not alone, and that caring and concerned people who knew her well were at her bedside.

To all the Nurses and Staff at Innage Grange particularly in the Kensington wing

I would like to this opportunity of thanking all of you at Innage for the care and consideration that you gave my Mum in the three and a half years that she was with you.

She was in a care home for more than 10 years after she became unable to look after herself and I can very clearly say that she had the best care when she was with you of all the years and I very much appreciate all the kindness that you showed my Mum with very little in the way of return given her condition.

I would just like to say that I spent a fabulous hour there on Cedar this morning... the girls on duty put a big smile on everyone's faces by putting on some old music singing and dancing with the residents. The staff at Woodcroft are amazing but this morning was so special what joy they brought to the residents' lives this morning. Special mention for Linda and Cal. Thank you so much for providing top class care.

I have had my wife in other homes but she's never been looked after so well as Barclay Gardens.

In the year that Dad has been at Stone House we’ve never had any cause to be anything but satisfied (impressed even) with the care he’s given by everyone at Stone House, BUT yesterday was a particularly impressive day.

Edna was on top of things throughout and Doreen and Evelyn could not have been more caring had Dad been the King of England. When we arrived back last night the dedication of all three just shone through. Their concern for Dad’s well being was awesome. To be honest, the love and attention they lavished on him brought a lump to my throat.

I have told other people many times that, given some of the horror stories one reads about in the press and sees on TV, if anyone wants to know how to properly run a care home, they should go and see how its done at Stone House.

I just thought you should know.

Sincerely, Austin.

Thank you to all staff who looked after our mum during her short stay with you.

We appreciate so much the care and kindness given to her.

Her twilight days were made comfortable and she died peacefully with dignity and her family besides her.

We would like to thank Michelle Yates and her team of staff for taking care of our mother for the past 2 years.

My mother was shown genuine affection.

The dedication particularly over the last few weeks has been wonderful.

When we saw Debbie at Farcroft last Sunday she mentioned that Mum's personal effects and clothes etc. could be packed up by yourselves. At first we intended doing this ourselves but concluded that it would be a little difficult for us. We would be really grateful therefore if you could go ahead with this. Mum did have bits and pieces of jewellery about, the majority of which, I think, is in a clear plastic bag, bottom drawer of chest of drawers.

Can I take this opportunity to thank you and your excellent staff for all you did for Mum. Both myself and my brother are immensely grateful for the standard of care while Mum was with you. We both agree that she couldn't really have been in a better place.

Best Regards,

David Sherry
