Montgomery House represents the modern face of care services for the people of Shrewsbury and its surrounding areas.
Opened at the beginning of November 2016, it is a purpose-built home-from-home with 90 en-suite bedrooms which provides the comforts of a welcoming, friendly and supportive place to live.
Designed from the ground up to be the ideal residential and caring environment, Montgomery House inherits the family atmosphere of its predecessor in the town, Crowmoor House, while bringing the benefits of additional services to more people.
High quality finishes to individual rooms complement social spaces and quiet areas, including a pleasant orangery and private gardens to enjoy. The focus at Montgomery House is living your life your way, with our friendly team providing support where it is required. Should a residents' needs change and nursing care becomes a requirement, it will be available on the same site, removing the need to leave the familiar surroundings and friendly faces.
Everyone who lives at Montgomery House is at the centre of developing their own care plan, with our contribution to your daily life tailored to your own needs and aspirations. Montgomery House is a home, regardless of the level of support needed. Our team will ensure that you make your choices and have as much control over your life as possible.
This is at the heart of the 'person-centred care' that we practise across the whole organisation, never forgetting that you are an individual with the right to live your life your way and with dignity and respect. Life in Montgomery House will open up a world of activity on a daily basis, for those who want it. The chance to make new friendships and enjoy new experiences should be open to everyone, whether or not they need our support to take part.
