Residents at a Shropshire care home have been putting their best foot forward in supporting frontline NHS workers by holding a sponsored walk around the care home site and gardens.

Home manager, Claire Childs, said “It was a wonderful group effort by residents and staff alike.

We all appreciate how hard the NHS is working at the moment, from doctors and nurses, to housekeeping and support staff, so we wanted to do our bit to say a big thank you for their efforts.

coverage-care-home-sponsored-walk“We had a visit from Julia Clarke, the Director of Corporate Services at the hospital trust, who was able to meet with residents, collect the donation and share her thanks on behalf of the workers that are set to receive some delicious treats.”

Innage Grange provides dedicated nursing and residential care to 83 residents, with the support of over 100 care staff.

Residents have the opportunity to take part in a variety of physical and social activities alongside using on-site services including a salon and café.
