We want you to feel at home with us and at Coverage Care we understand how important home comforts are to everyone. That is why in each of our homes we do all we can to make sure that you feel like it is your Home, because that’s exactly what it is!
All the food at our Homes is freshly prepared in an on-site kitchen by the Home’s catering manager and team. A choice of tasty, home cooked meals are available each day, both hot or cold. For sample menu please click here!
- We encourage your ideas at the residents meetings held in all of the homes in order that we can make our Home your home.
- You are of course able to order your preferred newspaper.
- We also have a purpose built hairdressing salon in each of the homes and have regular visits from beauty therapists at a small extra charge.
- We offer appointments with the local chiropodist, optician, dentist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist.
- Activities are planned daily for those who wish to take part, and the opportunity to learn a new skill is always available with a variety of crafts, etc.
- Socialising - the homes regularly hold social events together such as coffee mornings and Coverage Care as a whole organises inter homes events such as talent contests, inter homes quizzes, and gardens competition where users of our services can get together. Trips to outside tea dances have also been arranged.
- Holidays - of course you can go on holiday with your family, but the home also arranges a holiday for service users to go away for a break.
- Shopping - The homes have a small selection of items to buy, but if you want to go shopping into town we will enable you to do so.
- All the homes have the latest flat screen televisions in the lounges for you to watch and enjoy your favourite shows and events.
- Quality of furnishings - it is important to be comfortable in your surroundings and while watching the television! We take great care in choosing both styles and colours for our Homes.
- There is always someone on hand to look after you, talk to you and share a cup of tea with you. But of course, should you like some quiet time you have the privacy of your own room or one of the quiet areas within the Home.
