BBC Midlands Today programme used Lightmoor View as a background story to the issue of funding care in the future. Chief Executive David Coull showed BBC presenter Kay Alexander and the film crew around the new home before David was interviewed for the evening news programme.  David Coull said: “We need a proper debate about what sort of care people require in the future and and then how this might be funded. The government white paper has outlined some options but we  want to see more choice offered to citizens about the type of care they want and where this can best be delivered.”

The discussion will continue when David Coull is interviewed by BBC Radio Shropshire later this week.
