Thank you to all staff who looked after our mum during her short stay with you.

We appreciate so much the care and kindness given to her.

Her twilight days were made comfortable and she died peacefully with dignity and her family besides her.

A quick note to say many thanks for two acts of kindness which Mum mentioned which demonstrate once again how you and your staff go out of your way to ensure quality of life for Farcroft residents.

I know you particularly went out of your way to get Mum's embroidered table repaired.  I know this has been a bit of a thorny issue with Mum - and a tricky problem for you to resolve.

Mum also mentioned how, when she felt hungry one evening, a member of staff, quite unprompted, offered to make her a sandwich.

Things like this must really improve Mum's quality of life and we are grateful to you for it.

We think Mum is generally as happy as she can be given her reduced physical capacity - despite her protestations!
