Day Centre at Coton Hill
Coton Hill Day Centre offers a day away from the home for those with dementia and runs on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm each week.
The Day Centre offers a wide range of stimulating and enjoyable activities as well as company and social interaction in the safe surroundings of Coton Hill House.
All activities are tailored to the needs and abilities of the individual and include:-
Cooking, singing, bowling, reminiscence, a sensory game, quiz, crafts and bingo and fun!
Coton Hill also has safe gardens which, during the summer months, provide the perfect location for cream teas!
A hairdresser is also available to Day Centre service users on a Thursday and assisted baths are also available.
Once a month, on a Wednesday, a local church minister visits Coton Hill to administer Communion in the Day Centre, for those who wish to take part.
A three course meal is also available.
The Day Centre staff have all achieved their NVQ at either level 2 or 3.

Situated close to the town centre of Shrewsbury, Briarfields sits in its own grounds but is close to the residential area of Belle Vue.
